Job Description
Sample preparation:Collecting and preparing textile samples for testing according to established procedures.
Conducting tests:Performing various textile tests like tensile strength, tear resistance, colorfastness, shrinkage, flammability, and chemical composition using specialized equipment.
Operating lab equipment:Maintaining and calibrating testing machines like tensile testers, colorimeters, dyeing machines, and other relevant laboratory equipment.
Data analysis:Recording and interpreting test results, generating detailed reports with accurate documentation.
Quality control:Identifying quality issues, reporting discrepancies, and suggesting corrective actions to maintain product consistency.
Standard compliance:Adhering to established testing standards and industry regulations.
Troubleshooting:Identifying and resolving issues with testing procedures or equipment malfunctions.
Collaboration:Working with production teams to monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process and address concern
