Incorporated in the year 1++7, at Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh, India), we "Indian Hydrogen" are the reckoned manufacturer and supplier of an enhanced quality Hydrogen Gas, Nitrogen Gas, Argon Gas, Oxygen Gas, Helium Gas, Co2 Gas, Ammonia Gas , Zero Air Gas & Chlorine Gas etc.
POSITION SUMMARY
Indian Hydrogen Ltd has an immediate opening for a Gas Manifold Technician - Hydrogen. This position will be based in Kota Rajasthan.
Roles & Responsibilities
Tends equipment to fill cylinders other containers with liquefied or compressed gases.
Changes cylinder valves with wrench, or adjusts them to prescribed tension, using torque wrench.
Rolls cylinders onto platform scale, or positions cylinders in manifold racks manually or with chain hoist.
Connects lines from manifold to cylinders, using wrench.
Fills cylinders by any of following methods.
1 Sets pressure gauge to specified reading listens for buzzer indicating completion of filling.
2 Adjusts valves observes gauge to fill cylinders to specified pressure.
3 Observes scale indicator to fill cylinders to specified weight.
4 Fills cylinder to excess, rolls cylinder onto scale, and connects exhaust line to release excess gas attain prescribed gross weight.
Sprays or brushes solution onto cylinder valve to test for leaks.
Fills out and attaches warning and identification or decals, specifying tare gross weight, cylinder number, type of gas, and date filled, and records data.
May test gas for purity, using burette or other testing equipment.
May inspect or test empty cylinder [Cylinder Inspector-And-Tester ].
May evacuate residual gases from cylinders.
May test filled cylinders for specified gas pressure by connecting gauge comparing reading with chart.
May tend maintain generator or compressor in filling process.
May be designated according to type of container filled as Ton-Container Filler ; Tube-Trailer Filler ..
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Diploma
Knowledge of the industrial gases industry a strong asset
Excellent writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders
Able to travel to customer offices/sites and Indian Hydrogen offices
