Qualifications
GCP Engineer/Architect
Responsibilities
• Manage Identity and Access Management for GCP resources.
• Architect highly available and scalable services leveraging cloud and open-source technologies.
• Design cloud migration solutions and drive cloud optimization topics focusing on Security, Cloud TCO, High Availability and Resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, operations, and quality teams to execute the transformation/migration to the major public clouds, including GCP, AWS, and Azure to enable customer success.
• Create, influence, and apply cloud architecture frameworks and templates to drive adoption of cloud standards.
• Document and present methodologies and architectural documents to operations, engineering, and executive teams.
Required Skills
• 5+ years experience across the following:
• Cross vendor IAM and user account management experience, including SSO, MFA, SAML, and secret password/key management.
• Developing highly resilient and secure solutions and their associated underlying DB, Compute, Storage, and Platform technologies.
• Architecture with a proven track record of designing large scale, distributed, highly available, fault tolerant systems in the multi cloud environments across geographically distributed data centers.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to executives.
• Certified in either of the leading Cloud platforms including Google (GCP Professional Cloud Architect preferred), AWS, and Azure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, related degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Deep expertise in GCP capabilities including both IaaS and PaaS.
• Broad technology expertise across Public Clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP) including Docker, Kubernetes, Databases, REST, Application Security.
• Hands-on experience with industry standard DevSecOps tools (SAST/DAST, Git, Jenkins, Tekton, Chef, Spinnaker, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with designing the security around Google Kubernetes Engine Design and implementation experience with Google Cloud's Chronicle, Looker, Security Command Center, and BeyondCorp product offerings.
• 1+ years of experience project managing, delivering technical solutions and interfacing with executive stakeholders.
• 1+ years of experience demonstrating technical client service in the Data Analytics space.
• Demonstrated excellent communication, written, presentation and problem-solving skills.
