Job Title: GCP Platform Engineer (Contractual Extendable)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud services and their configuration impacts on performance, monitoring, and behavior. The role requires hands‑on experience with core GCP data services, automation tools, and scripting to ensure scalable, reliable, and optimized cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and manage GCP services including Dataproc, Dataflow, Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Terraform.
Analyze and explain the impact of configuration parameters on service behavior, monitoring, and performance.
Implement automation and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Python scripting.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize workflows in Dataflow, Dataproc, and Composer.
Ensure best practices in cloud performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Support database integration and performance optimization where required.
Mandatory Skills:
Hands‑on expertise in Dataproc, Dataflow, Composer/Airflow (must‑have).
Strong knowledge of Pub/Sub, GCS, and Terraform.
Ability to explain configuration impacts on service behavior and monitoring.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and workflow management.
Familiarity with database concepts and integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in GCP platform engineering or cloud data services.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
