We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in crop cultivation, maintenance, and operation of farm machinery. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to the successful management of our farm operations. Prior experience in horticulture or farm maintenance is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment
Operate farm machinery such as tractors and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on irrigation systems, tools, and farm machinery
Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks including pruning, planting, and equipment upkeep
Conduct general farm maintenance including cleaning, repairing fences, and managing pathways
Assist with loading and unloading supplies or harvested crops using heavy lifting techniques
Follow safety protocols during all farm activities to prevent accidents or injuriesExperience
Prior experience with farm machinery operation or horticulture is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues
Experience with irrigation systems and general maintenance tasks is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely is essential
Basic math skills are helpful for measuring materials and managing inventory
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery enhances efficiency on the job
