In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You'll play a vital part in the month-end closing process, maintaining a smooth workflow and supporting the Controller with various projects.
Responsibilities
• Assist with processing commissions and accounts payable
• Manager general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close processes such as:
• Accrue expenses to reflect outstanding financial obligations.
• Prepare insightful flux analysis reports to understand account activity.
• Reconcile accounts meticulously, guaranteeing data integrity.
• Support the statutory audit process by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
• Collaborate with the Controller on various projects as needed.
Requirements And Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification a plus
• 3+ years of experience as an accountant.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite and Netsuite.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact clearly with colleagues across departments.
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting principles.
• Meticulous attention to detail is needed to ensure data accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the accounting and finance field.
