Responsibilities
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, focusing on general ledger management, payroll, and various other accounting duties
Your role will be integral in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting organizational decision-making through detailed financial reporting
Manage the monthly and annual closing processes, including preparing account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
Analyze and interpret financial reports, providing insights to management for informed decision-making
Participate in the budgeting process by collecting data, conducting analysis, and providing financial input
Process bi-weekly payroll, handling deductions, benefits administration, and ensuring accurate disbursement
Assist with financial audits by preparing and delivering necessary documentation and explanations
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis to ensure accuracy in financial records
Maintain Fixed Asset, Sales Tax, and Corporate Credit Card processes with precise documentation
Cross-train within the department and act as a backup for Human Resources functions as needed
Build, generate, and distribute custom financial reports tailored to business needs
Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

Position Summary
