LabAssts–Three positions One – Minimum 45% in B.Sc. in Physical/Chemical Sciences or B.Tech./Diploma in Instrumentation. Two – Minimum 45% B.Sc in any branch of Biological Sciences. Lab Technician/Technical Assts– Two positions Two – Minimum 50% in M.Sc. in Zoology/Neurosciences/Physiology/Biochemistry/Biophysics/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/(any allied branch of Biological Sciences). M.Sc. candidates (for Lab Technician) are expected to understand and reproduce protocol from the literature. They should also be familiar with Laboratory note-book maintenance.
Requirements All candidates (for both Lab Assts and Lab Technicians) must have working-knowledge of using/ handling computer/laptop with basic software e.g.
Word, MS Office (Power point, Excel, etc); should be willing to handle lab experimental living species/samples; stock/book-keeping, must have knowledge/experience in handling some lab equipment, basic lab ethics, handling and behaving with matured (college) students, etc.
Candidates must be ready to learn.
Those having experience (with evidence) in teaching-labs and related work in higher education (college/institution) will receive due credit as per the decision of the selection committee and the administration
