Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of 20 members across AP, AR, FAR, Payroll, GL, ESOP accounting, and related functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.
- Review monthly Balance Sheet and P&L to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS accounting standards.
- Handle statutory audits, coordinate with auditors, and resolve audit queries.
- Oversee statutory compliances including GST, TDS, and Forex regulations.
- Manage periodic actuarial valuations and related accounting.
- Support due diligence audits (investor, acquisition, or regulatory).
- Drive continuous process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Implement and institutionalize ledger scrutiny and balance sheet reviews.
- Ensure adequacy and effectiveness of ERP internal controls.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and system integrity.
- Drive team efficiency through KPI definition, monitoring, and performance management.
- Mentor and develop team members; build a strong ownership mindset.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including business, tech, tax, and auditors.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a startup/high-growth environment.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 812 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
