Full job description

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company objectives.

Forecast sales targets and plan resources accordingly.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.

2. Team Leadership & Management

Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales managers, executives, and support staff.

Set clear goals and performance metrics for the sales team.

Motivate the team through incentives, recognition, and regular coaching.

3. Customer Relationship Management

Ensure a superior customer experience throughout the sales process.

Address customer concerns and resolve escalations effectively.

Build long-term relationships with high-value clients and fleet buyers.

4. Inventory & Pricing Management

Coordinate with inventory managers to ensure optimal stock levels of vehicles.

Work with finance and OEM partners to structure competitive pricing and financing options.

Oversee the valuation and resale of used vehicles (if applicable).

5. Sales Performance Monitoring

Track and analyze sales data to evaluate individual and team performance.

Use CRM systems and dealership software (e.g., DMS) to monitor lead conversion.

Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales KPIs.

6. Collaboration with Other Departments

Work closely with service, finance, and marketing teams to align dealership objectives.

Ensure smooth coordination between sales and after-sales service departments.

Participate in dealership events and promotional activities.

7. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines.

Oversee accurate documentation for vehicle sales, financing, and insurance.

Maintain records for audits and internal reviews.

8. Marketing & Promotion

Collaborate with the marketing team to drive local promotional campaigns.

Organize test drive events, product launches, and customer engagement programs.

Leverage digital platforms and local media to enhance brand visibility.

Monitor profit margins, sales revenue, and cost controls.

Approve deals and discounts in accordance with financial goals.

Develop budgets for the sales department and manage expenditures.

10. Product Knowledge & Training

Stay updated on new vehicle models, features, and technological advancements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
