What this opportunity involves:
JLL is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our premium Melbourne Quarter assets on behalf of Lendlease. This exceptional opportunity involves managing One and Two Melbourne Quarter, totalling over 77,000 sqm of Grade A office space.
As General Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for the Lendlease Asset Manager, overseeing all aspects of these premium assets while driving customer satisfaction and retention across 24 tenants.
An overview of the role:
Serve as primary point of contact for Lendlease Asset Manager, overseeing operations of One and Two Melbourne Quarter premium Grade A asset
Develop strategic asset plans focusing on positioning, leasing, capital works and marketing strategies for both properties
Drive customer satisfaction and retention across 24 tenants through proactive engagement and targeted experience-enhancement programs
Maximise financial performance through effective budget management, expense control and revenue optimisation
Lead and develop the Melbourne Quarter team including Property Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Engineering Manager and Senior Customer Relationship Manager
Monitor Melbourne market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of tenant experience
Implement sustainability initiatives to maintain high NABERS Energy ratings and WELL Platinum certification
Ensure timely, accurate delivery of analysis for asset plans, monthly reports, annual reports and property business plans
Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards while implementing comprehensive risk management practices
Partner effectively with stakeholders across APPFC and Aware Super funds to ensure alignment on strategic goals
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or related field
Current Victorian Real Estate License
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a General Manager or similar senior leadership role, specifically with premium/A-grade commercial assets
Comprehensive understanding of Melbourne commercial real estate operations, market dynamics and competitive landscape
Exceptional leadership abilities with proven track record of team development
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills across all stakeholder levels
Demonstrated success in customer retention strategies within premium commercial environments
Advanced analytical and financial acumen for complex budget management
