Role Description
This is a full-time role located on-site in New Delhi for a Manager Sales || MICE. The Deputy General Manager Sales || MICE will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales and marketing, as well as operations, for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE).
Responsibilities:
• Focus on innovation and new techniques to penetrate the market.
• Profit optimization to meet the budget.
• Retention of existing accounts
• Maximize profitability and focus on timely payment collections as per agreement to ensure adequate cash flow.
• Ensure conversion of leads through various channels
• Compliance and adherence to operating procedures defined in MICE operations.
• Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
• Responsible to provide leadership, direction, and support to the organization’s sales function.
• Responsible for profitable achievement of sales, and organization goals and aligning the sales objectives with overall business strategy.
• Responsible for sales forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting
• Achieve budgeted Sales and revenue targets.
• Creating regional sales plans and budget bifurcation in alignment with business objectives
• Build a pipeline of new customers and maintain Key account relationships to build repeat businesses.
• Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase market share.
• Deliver Thomas Cook’s best-in-class services to clients.
• Align customer requirements to our delivery systems and hand over meetings with Operations.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and/or MICE industry
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building successful teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills
