Company - Bogush Mechanical DBA Public Sewer Service Division
We are one of New Jersey’s most established commercial sewer contractors, serving commercial, industrial, and municipal clients statewide. Our operation is built to perform at scale with deep internal resources and a heavy commercial fleet—including sewer jetters, jet/vac units, vacuum trucks, and CCTV pipeline inspection equipment—alongside full-service sewer & water main excavations and repairs.
Position Summary - Senior Leadership Role (General Manager)
We are seeking a General Manager to lead our Sewer & Water Operations (Cleaning, CCTV & Repair) department end-to-end. This role operates in a private-sector contractor environment (not municipal/DPW) and is accountable for overall department performance, including field operations and office staff, high-level customer communication, decisive operational leadership, and results across safety, quality, production, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all department operations including:
Commercial sewer cleaning & maintenance (jetters, jet/vac, vacuum trucks)
CCTV pipeline inspection and reporting workflows
Sewer & water main excavations, repairs, and replacements
Direct superintendents/foremen, crews, and office support staff; set standards and drive accountability
Allocate labor, equipment, and schedules across emergency response and planned work
Own senior-level customer relationships, project strategy, and resolution of escalations on critical accounts
Drive results: productivity, quality control, safety compliance, margins, and job closeout
Oversee estimating support, job costing, change orders, and operational reporting/metrics
Key Requirements
Proven senior leadership in commercial sewer services and underground utility contracting
Strong customer-facing communication skills; able to represent the company at a high level
Experience managing multi-crew operations and heavy equipment deployment (jet/vac, jetters, CCTV strongly preferred)
Strong operational discipline: safety leadership, documentation, execution standards, and accountability
Comfortable making fast, sound decisions in a high-volume environment
