General Practitioner – Full Time or Part Time | South Auckland
We are currently recruiting for a skilled General Practitioner to join a busy and well-established medical centre located in South Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality care to the local community.
About the Opportunity:
This GP position is within a large, multi-site healthcare organisation known for delivering outstanding general practice and urgent care services. The centre is well-equipped, professionally managed, and focused on providing accessible and innovative healthcare services across New Zealand.
You will be working alongside an experienced and friendly clinical team that values teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement. Flexible work arrangements are available – whether you're looking for a permanent full-time role, part-time, or locum work, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centred care in a culturally appropriate and respectful manner
Provide ongoing management of both acute and chronic health conditions
Contribute to continuous improvement within the clinical team
Promote health education and preventative care strategies
Requirements:
Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Legal right to work in New Zealand
Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
Experience with MedTech32, MedTech Evolution, or similar practice management systems is preferred
Valid ACLS certificate
Strong clinical and communication skills
Commitment to health equity, cultural competency, and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
