Responsibilities:

The General Superintendent will lead all field operations for ground-up residential projects

with a commitment to quality and safe construction processes. Responsibilities include,

but are not limited to:

Oversee daily onsite field operations, managing construction activities, third-party
vendors, and contractors.

Maintain project schedule and proactively manage the project budget by overseeing
approvals and deliveries, controlling expenses, and reviewing submittal data.

Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and
county officials, and clients.

Collaborate with internal Project Managers, Design Managers, and Developers.
Drive the construction document coordination phase and review document
packages for procurement, developing detailed scopes of work.

Help formulate, maintain, and execute the project schedule.
Manage the permit process with expeditors, DOB, and related governmental
requirements.

Lead job site foreman’s meetings.
Project Oversight: Direct all on-site construction activities to ensure project
completion according to plans, specifications, and schedule.

Collaborate with Project managers to review and adjust construction schedules
Enforce quality control standards for all phases of construction framing, roofing,
finishes, and more

Manage RFIs and ensure communication flows smoothly across the project team
Maintain accurate site documentation and logs using ProCore
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the on-site construction team, including

subcontractors and laborers, to create a safe and productive work environment.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, company
standards, and project specifications.

Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to
maintain a safe work site for all personnel

Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the project

management team, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any

issues.

Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure

timely delivery of materials and successful project milestones.

Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during
construction, minimizing delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications:

Able to manage projects involving the development and implementation of
business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the

necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and

quality

Ability to plan and prioritize while focusing on detail orientation and effective time
management

When speaking and writing, uses appropriate grammar, organizes ideas clearly, and
articulates ideas concisely

Ability to manage individuals and groups
Optimize performance of people, including determination of capabilities,
integration into teams, allocation of tasks, direction, support, guidance, motivation,

and management of performance

Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience (including scheduling, ordering, field
supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential

construction)

A thorough knowledge of all trades
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
from inception to completion.

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Manage & travel to various sites
OSHA 30 certification or similar safety training is preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended period
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
