Generator Service Mechanic Technician job at Generac Power Systems, Inc.. Ashland, VA.
Virginia Power Solutions is looking for a Generator Service and Installation Technician to join our growing team! To service, install and repair Generac Generator backup Power systems.

• $150 pay for the week you are designed to work for after hours on call services (even if no
• calls are taken.)

Responsibilities:
• Inspect and perform equipment maintenance, repairs and replacements of existing Generator
• Power Systems
• Install new Generator Power Systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Be responsible for Taking after hour calls for emergency service or repairs one week per month.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Generator or other related fields
• Familiarity with Electrical wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with natural gas and propane regulators and appliances
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Have a keep a working Smartphone
• Be able to work on an iPad and keep up with changing technology.
• Communicate well with others
• Work in a team environment.
• Work well independently.
