GIS Development experience with ESRI and Intergraph Platform essential
and other technologies desirable.
ESRI Online and Portal including ArcGIS JS API (v4) for web based
applications.
Angular JS and React JS, Python
Strong understanding of GIS data, data models and GIS database
management.
DevOps Experience, including code pipelines and automated testing.
Web development, API integration and UIX.
GIS workflow design and implementation.
Knowledge of Lidar, Imagery and Mobile Mapping technologies is highly
desirable.
Artificial Intelligence (for automated feature extraction) and Machine Learning
experience desirable.
Develop, test, debug and maintain web-based GIS applications, tools and
supporting web services
Provide support, troubleshooting, modifications, enhancements and
maintenance for existing GIS applications, scripts, tools and webservices
Create and maintain system related documentation
Write SQL queries, geoprocessing tools and construct views which support
analysis and reporting
Manage geo-database, guide engineering and remote sensing teams for data
requirements and best practices
Support the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data for Web
dashboard(s), open-source Metabase Dashboards (or similar applications) to
be used for reporting and statistics
Prepare and deliver presentations and/or training sessions on GIS
Web Developer Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or master's degree i.e. BE/B Tech/M Tech/ME/MCA
Minimum 2+ years of experience
Proven experience in GIS Web Development and Data Modelling
Strong understanding of application development methodologies.
Work in an Agile and fast-moving environment (Scrum experience desirable).
Able to quickly appreciate, understand and implement customer requirements.
Work with the stake holders to convert the requirements into working solutions.
Knowledge of the GIS in Emergency Services preferred.
A bachelor’s degree or master's degree i.e. BE/B Tech/M Tech/ME/MCA
Minimum 5+ years of experience
Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python.
Proficiency with front end design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and various
mapping languages.
Experience with GPS measuring tools
