We are seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Intern to join our Fraser Valley, BC team for the upcoming co-op term. In this role, you’ll work alongside industry-leading experts, gaining hands-on experience in the field, the lab, and technical reporting. You’ll be part of real-world projects - testing, inspecting, and ensuring quality in the structures and systems that shape our communities.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
Assist with geotechnical field work (drill rig supervision, soil/groundwater sampling, well monitoring, in-situ testing)
Document field procedures and observations with detailed notes and photographs
Perform lab testing (moisture contents, sieves, hydrometers, Atterbergs, proctors, etc.)
Help prepare technical reports, memos, analysis, and specifications
Follow site-specific health and safety plans and participate in safety briefings
Coordinate daily with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams

Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in geotechnical/civil engineering or a related field
Team player with the ability to work independently
Strong work ethic, motivation, and attention to detail
Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
