Job Description
Red Stag Timber operates a high capacity Planer mill with the latest technology! Our Planer mill runs an automated timber sorting and stacking machinery, and uses high-speed gauging, mechanical stress and computerised visual grading systems.
A permanent vacancy has arisen in our Planer mill Nightshift team for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit team member with a safety first attitude!
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 3.40pm - 2.20am with occasional overtime on Fridays. A generous Night Shift allowance applies for this position.
Rotational duties at various workstations include:
Operating Automated Timber Stacking machinery and Fillet placing
Recording and Tagging Timber
Packet Wrapping and Strapping
Manual Timber Handling
Safe Operation of Secondary Processing Plant and Equipment
Previous experience in a similar role will be favourable; however, a 'can-do' attitude is essential to be part of our team.
