GIS Developer (5+ years Exp)
Number of positions: 1
Organizes and executes the activities needed to design and build applications to support Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data. Using computer programming, he creates enhancements to existing GIS software, such as web-based applications, that are customized to his client's requests.
Role and Responsibilities :
● GIS application development and integration
● Test and remediate GIS applications
● Systems analysis and reporting
Skills experience :
● (minimum) 5 years as a GIS application developer
● Must have experience usage of QGIS and Google EarthPro tool
● Must have good knowledge of creating KML, KMZ, SVG, GEOJSON from Shape file
● Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise web applications or other web application development
● Experience integrating GIS solutions with other business systems including data warehousing, Web applications.
● Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology such as MySql, MariaDB, MongoDB
● Understanding of spatial analysis and geo-processing tasks
● Strong understanding of modern development patterns and architectures
● Web mapping technologies and experience
Education :
● MCA, B.Tech/B.E. /Msc
