We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
• The role is responsible to undertake activities on system level design and development, deployment (CTB) of the code, testing and deployment as well as support the production processing (RTB).
• Create robust CI-CD pipelines with all security aspects to meet requirements,
• Enabling automated test environments to ensure code quality aspect.
• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data. Apply innovation and creativity to automate manual tasks.
• Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.
• Ensure the service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered. Actively participate in and drive the mandatory exercises from time to time on resilience, recovery, and service management. Support on-call and work in Shifts as per the agreed plans when required.
• Responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement. Also, should be well aware of the various code scanning findings and provide meaningful remediation solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience in Devops tools like Github, JiRA, Jenkins, Stack driver, Confluence, Ansible, Checkmarx , Shell Scripting, Control M or any batch scheduling tool.
• Candidate having strong knowledge on cloud computing technologies, especially on GCP (DataHub/Big Query) and able to develop solution using Cloud Technologies.
• Preferred technology skills – Github, JiRA, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Confluence, Ansible, Shell scripts.
• Secondary Skills GCP BQ, Python, Microservices.
• Experience in automated deployment, release management, aware about CICD concepts.
• Ability to translate business level requirements to system level components or blocks. Ability to do coding, testing and deliver quality product to the stakeholders (internal and external)
• Ability to understand the vulnerabilities and subsequent patching for infrastructure. Role demands working in shifts and provide On-Call support to production system.
• Ability to understand the code scanning reports, vulnerabilities and subsequent patching for infrastructure
