About This Role
This Architect/Urban Design Officer role offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality developments across Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert architectural and urban design advice on development proposals, policy guidance, and regeneration initiatives.
Work closely with stakeholders, including local community representatives, statutory bodies, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Contribute to the delivery of the Development Management Planning service through pre-application and development management casework.
Offer detailed specialist advice to a range of stakeholders, including input to public realm and open space projects.
Manage the Glasgow Urban Design Panel and collaborate with other teams to achieve shared objectives.
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified professional with a degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field, and significant experience in a similar role.
Previous experience working with stakeholders, multi-disciplinary teams, and statutory bodies is essential.
Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Membership and/or Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) membership are desirable.
