Full job description
We are seeking an experienced animal health advisor with a background in veterinary, animal science, or education to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in designing and delivering engaging online and in person learning programmes, particularly in veterinary or medical education.
Key Requirements:
Degree (undergraduate or higher) in veterinary, animal science, or a related education field.
Proven success in developing and facilitating online, student-centred curricula.
Experience in veterinary or medical education
Ability and willingness to travel to all Brooke countries of operation to support animal health capacity building initiatives
Knowledge of animal health systems in the Global South and familiarity with international development.
Strong project management skills and ability to deliver international projects independently and collaboratively.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills suited to diverse, international audiences.
This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on global animal health and welfare. If you’re a dynamic trainer and facilitator passionate about veterinary education and online learning, we’d love to hear from you.
At Brooke, we celebrate diversity and the creative new ideas it brings. We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds, in particular global majority candidates, candidates from a social mobility background, disabled and neuro-diverse candidates, and candidates under 25 as these groups are currently under-represented at Brooke.
We are aware that studies have shown that women and global majority candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they feel they do not meet the full criteria of the job description. If you feel you meet the majority of the criteria, we would love to hear from you.
We offer a variety of flexible working options to best support our staff and to ensure our working practices are as inclusive as possible
