The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in the area of distributed real-time trading systems. Experience with micro service architecture, Linux operating system internals, and networking concepts is also required.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure trading systems that meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with global teams to design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Develop and test code using agile methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of Java programming concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with real-time distributed systems, multi-threaded/concurrent programming, low-latency messaging, network protocols, and network I/O in Java.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of financial markets, including trading strategies and risk management techniques.
• Fluency in one or more additional languages, such as Python, C++, or JavaScript.
