These End-to-End teams are aligned to our market strategies and will operate virtually across our global PA business.The expert team will work with Sales to provide optimised pursuits and develop a ring-fenced team to Deliver projects for and on behalf of all regionsAn exciting opportunity has arisen within our Process Automation (PA) business unit for an experienced Global Solution Leader for ChemicalsRole ProfileThis full-time dedicated role will be instrumental in developing and operating an expert team of people to cover end to end Customer Project process to markedly improve cost optimal pursuits and efficiently lead project execution.This leader and other core team members will work together to maximise efficiencies through knowledge and experience sharing, identifying innovative delivery mechanisms, building repeatability, reuse and predictability. In the interim, the position will report to Vice President Chemicals and will operate on behalf of all regions with regards to pursuits and project delivery. A dotted line to the candidates existing regional position will remain in place.The Global CoE Leader for Chemicals is expected to manage supply, demand, and prioritisation of team members to deliver pursuits and projects, playing a part in attracting and upskilling team members from EEC and regions. This leader is the main contact point for dedicated tendering & procurement interfaces. As the Expert team grows, reflecting increased volume of work, it is also expected to develop and maintain tools and templates as part of the specific industry knowledge bank. The following are expected to be part of this leaders role.The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership, sales & delivery experience, strong networking skills, is an excellent communications and act as a change agent.Confidence and ability to converse with EPCs and Customers is essential.Deep knowledge of the Chemicals business is preferableThe role requires ability to build relationships and attract Subject Matter Experts to the team.Working with regional sales & delivery, dedicated tendering & procurement and the wider team, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards the following KPIs Increased win rates and reduced execution hours to deliver,Workflow optimisation vision,Inspire and motivate the team for improved competitiveness.Combining these qualities with demonstrable use of best practices and enabling tools (Solution Portal) to ensure knowledge capture and continuous improvement mindset.The Expert team will be expected to undertake the regular activity of populating new tools, such as the Solution Portal Knowledge bank, with relevant knowledge to assist repeatability and reuse, not just for use with the Expert team but also to serve all PA regions.Amongst these many leadership factors, success will be dependent on having agile skills to run an autonomous team in a collaborative and development environment.QualificationsExpectationsEnd to End responsibility RACI is availableEngineering & Delivery background is essentialResponsible for meeting KPIsAssist in business development strategiesDevelops team to repeat, reuse best practices to reach and sustain cost optimisationBecomes key interface with EPCs and customerManages resource prioritisation50/50 split of time between sales and deliveryActs as change agentBehaviours and CompetenciesStrong Leadership skillsTechnical & Commercial Industry knowledgeExcellent communicator (internally and externally)Understands how to operate in agile modeCompetitive mindsetEnables Collaborative environmentAbility to transfer knowledge to team and successor
