THE ROLE

We are seeking a brilliant, ambitious, and purpose-driven Global Director of Education Technology. This is a senior Sales and Business Development leadership role with a strong consulting and strategic advisory component, but with a sharp focus on revenue generation.

The successful candidate will help drive Matific’s global growth across ministries of education, NGOs, large school groups, research organisations, and mission-aligned partners. This role blends high-level sector expertise with commercial acumen and the ability to craft solutions that address systemic educational challenges at national and organisational scale.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead global sales strategy targeting ministries of education, NGOs, large networks of schools, philanthropic organisations, and research bodies.
Build and manage high-value relationships with senior government officials, education leaders, and decision-makers across priority regions.
Design and execute consultancy-led sales engagements that diagnose educational needs and position Matific as a strategic solution partner.
Own revenue outcomes for major enterprise deals, multi-year government contracts and large-scale implementations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Pedagogy, Customer Success and Marketing to craft compelling solutions and proposals.
Represent Matific at global education events, conferences and roundtables as a thought leader in EdTech, mathematics education and digital transformation.
Develop and strengthen partnerships with NGOs, research institutions and global education development stakeholders.
Lead rigorous pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure predictable, sustainable revenue growth.
Support country teams and regional leaders with strategic guidance, deal structuring, and major opportunity oversight.
Ensure Matific’s value proposition aligns with market trends, policy environment,s and emerging educational needs.

Requirements:
Extensive experience in the education sector, ideally with global exposure (MOEs, NGOs, large school groups, or development agencies).
Proven track record of generating significant revenue through enterprise or government-level deals.
Exceptional intelligence, strategic thinking ability, and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in consultancy-style engagements, needs analysis, and solution design.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex procurement processes and multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with executive and ministerial-level audiences.
Purpose-driven mindset and passion for improving global education.
Team player with a positive attitude, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
