Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Educational Qualifications:

Essential: B. Tech/B.E. in ECE/EEE/CS

Preferred: MBA or master’s degree in Sales/Marketing/Finance/Strategy

Candidate Profile to qualify for the role:

· ~20 years of progressive experience in an Event Management Company or the Event Management Industry

· ~10 years of experience as a Business Development professional in the Event Management Industry

· ~05 years of experience as a P&L Owner in the Event Management industry

· Should have a proven track record of closing high-value event management contracts.

· Should have a proven track record in building long-term professional associations with client organisations in Sports, Media, Entertainment, Technology, Public Sector, etc.

· Should have a proven track record of building business units from the ground up.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven, commercially astute, and ambitious Vice President: Events whose core mandate is to rebuild ZOOM’s Event Production & Management business unit. This senior leadership role will be that of a business unit leader/divisional CEO with a mandate of building and leading a business unit from the ground up.

The ideal candidate would have a proven record in B2B and B2G Business Development/Sales as a senior leader within a respected Event Management Company. The ideal candidate will also require relevant experience in team building as well as P&L Management within the event management industry.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Own and aggressively drive the business development process

· Lead identification, bidding, and closure of high-value event management contracts

· Deliver revenue/projects within stipulated timelines

· Own the P&L for the entire business unit.

· Collaborate with Engineering & Technology teams to build solutions for clients.

· Build a portfolio of clients across Sports, Media, Entertainment, Technology, and the Public Sector.

· Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of driven individuals who will jointly build the business unit.

Desired Skills:

· Exceptional track record in B2B and B2G sales in the Event Management Industry [Non-negotiable].

· Strong financial acumen, capable of structuring complex, $XX Mn deals and managing the P&L accountability for large contracts.

· Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills.

· Strong technical aptitude and entrepreneurial drive.

Position PurposeThe Global Events Manager at Qentelli will lead the planning, strategy, and execution of global technology-driven events — including customer summits, innovation showcases, industry conferences, webinars, and partner forums. This position requires a balance of creativity, operational excellence, and technical know-how to deliver world-class experiences that align with our positioning as a leading digital transformation and AI engineering company.Primary Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of global and regional events (physical, virtual, and hybrid), ensuring consistency with Qentelli’s brand and strategic objectives.Partner with marketing, alliances, and executive teams to design event themes, storytelling frameworks, and content tracks that resonate with tech decision-makers.Integrate and manage event technology platforms (Cvent, SpotMe, Zoom Events, Klik, Hopin, or similar) for registrations, analytics, engagement, and reporting.Collaborate with creative and digital teams to develop promotional campaigns , assets, microsites, and social media content for event amplification.Work with Qentelli’s data and analytics teams to measure event ROI , track attendee engagement, and generate actionable post-event insights.Manage vendor and agency relationships — production houses, logistics partners, and digital engagement vendors — ensuring seamless event delivery.Partner with the alliances and partnerships team for co-branded activations with technology partners (Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.).Develop and maintain event playbooks, process documentation, and best practices for scalability and cross-team collaboration.Support executive leadership and speakers with briefings, presentation materials, and talking points.Stay current on emerging event technologies, formats, and experiential trends within the tech industry to continuously innovate Qentelli’s event experiences.Required Skills & Expertise Proven expertise in managing large-scale technology events and conferences (both virtual and in-person).Strong understanding of event technology platforms (Cvent, SpotMe, Klik, Zoom Events, etc.) and their integrations with marketing systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo).Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines, vendors, and stakeholders globally.Data-driven mindset — ability to analyze engagement metrics, interpret insights, and improve event strategies accordingly.Working knowledge of digital tools and analytics (Google Analytics, UTM tracking, Power BI, Tableau).Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, engineering, design, and operations.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfort with executive-level presentations.Understanding of the tech industry landscape — cloud, AI, automation, and digital engineering trends.Experience / Background 5+ years of experience in event management or experiential marketing, preferably in a technology or consulting environment .Proven track record of managing global events, summits, or large-scale hybrid conferences .Experience in managing cross-functional and multi-location teams .Strong operational experience with budget management, logistics, and vendor contracts .Exposure to working with technology ecosystems and enterprise clients is a strong plus.Education / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).Certifications in event management platforms (Cvent, Zoom Events, etc.) or digital marketing are an added advantage.About Qentelli Qentelli is a digital transformation partner focused on engineering ambitious futures through AI, automation, and cloud solutions.
