Job Description : Manager Events
Location : Gurgaon
Does managing global events, planning roadshows, conceptualizing webinars and expanding an organization’s thought leadership mindshare excite you?
If yes, we would love to talk to you. We are looking for a marketing manager who will spearhead Shipsy’s global events and webinar program.
This opportunity also allows you to become a part of a young and vibrant team, collaborate with people across geographies and cultures, and rapidly grow as a modern marketer.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
• Conceptualize, design and coordinate execution of Shipsy’s global events and webinar program, this includes roadshows, third-party events, tradeshows etc.
• Own the lead generation outcome from events and webinars and keeping a close track on the ROI from these activities.
• Own all event related operational aspects such as : collateral, signage and giveaway inventory; messaging and branding;
speaking engagements; etc.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve favorable terms and rates.
• Responsible for managing and tracking the event calendar for our events and others in the competitor landscape.
• Manage social media promotions of all the webinar and event.
• Manage event budgets & vendors, and ensuring adherence.,
• Manage all logistics associated with the events and webinar program.
• Own post event / webinar activities to ensure lead engagement, evaluating outcomes and proposing future events based on ROI
Requirements & Qualifications :
• 5+ years of direct experience in managing events
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent vendor management skills
• Experience with webinar tools like GoTo / WebEX
