Job Description:
A Global Logistics Specialist at DSV A/S is responsible for coordinating the importation and exportation of goods by air and/or ocean. This involves managing customs clearance, scheduling, and communication with customers and third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate import and export activities, including customs clearance and delivery to final destinations
Manage relationships with airlines, steamship lines, customs agents, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices and bills of lading
Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on shipment status
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
