Role Description
Global Network Management (GNM), part of RCP (Regulatory and Cross product) Operations, is responsible for managing external entity relationships (DB branches, Central Securities Depositories and Third parties) on behalf of Deutsche Bank entities globally, across all major business lines. GNM aims to provide a competitive network management service, balancing agent network cost, quality and risk factors in line with business requirements.
The GNM Team are responsible for managing the opening and closing of all nostro and depot accounts under all of the external entity relationships globally, as well as the supporting control and monitoring of the account network, Agent bank Invoicing etc

Your key responsibilities:
• You will be part of a team that is accountable for Nostro/Depot Account Opening, Closure and Modification Process, Agent bank Invoicing etc
• You will work directly with the global external entity network to complete the above-mentioned process while establishing a strong relationship with each provider.
• Advanced Excel knowledge – able to work on complex formulas etc
• You should be strong with large data sets of reconciling.
• You will work directly with internal DB Business Account Owners and their associated operations teams, to complete account setup process establishing a strong relationship with each business.
• You will work closely with the senior management team to help compile presentations/MIS/reporting for on-going projects and initiatives.

• You will coordinate and provide accurate month end reporting to meet a range of audit, control and regulatory requirements across the Global GNM Team.
• You will operate effectively within tight timeframes and provide support and cover where required for team members.
• You will produce accurate daily/weekly/monthly reporting to demonstrate the progress on RTB process and change projects, collating feedback from the team and highlighting any remedial work which is required.
• You will attend and represent the GNM Team at various internal forums to present progress, reporting and discuss any issues/escalations.
• You will respond promptly and effectively to adhoc queries and investigations focused on controls issues.
• You will host, attend and/or represent the GNM team during conference calls arranged with the external entity network, business owners, internal teams and stakeholders (of all corporate titles).
• You will assist with evidence collation for a formal response to internal and external audit requests.
• Manage escalations and ensure resolutions on or before time
• Plan and manage risks and detail mitigation strategies
• Challenge current processes and align to the success measures to deliver process efficiencies that are sustainable
• Clear and concise communication to team members, functional Leads and other stakeholders
Your skills and experience
• Advanced Excel user- not only be able to use Functions and formulas, but know which ones to use and when to use them
• Ability to think creatively and 'out of the box' to create new input formats for invoices
• Demonstrable adherence to the Bank's Values and Beliefs
• Strong Process/ change management experience with an exposure to control practices
• Inquisitive and probing approach to problem solving and general assessment
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and always with professionalism
• Good verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management
• Ability to be open minded, share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
• Uses own initiative, doesn't need to be hand held all the time
• Attention to detail
• Basic understanding of post trade service (nice to have)
Professional and personal qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of Investment Banking (Operations) experience with familiarity of financial markets
• 2+ years of working experience in Network Management Function
• Ability to work independently & deliver in demanding environment to meet the set target
• Team player, highly motivated, practical problem solver
• Master's Degree level education – preferred (Not Mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Reporting and Analytics tools (Advanced Excel, Tableau, R etc,) will be beneficial
• Ability to meet commitments and deadlines whilst maintaining quality
