• Job Purpose
Digital Architect is a technology evangelist responsible for End to End architecture of Digital ecosystem. Digital Architect will develop and maintain overall Digital Architecture Model, and ensure it is communicated and enforced within the organization.
Digital Architect integrates the project and program strategies across multiple programs and projects, and ensures alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities.
• Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Define and maintain the Digital architecture that align with our business strategy, investment and design decisions
- Develop strategies to steer the program portfolio to align with the target state Digital Architecture
- Act as a key contributor in a complex and critical environment during the project discovery and/or design phases.
- Business Stakeholder engagement to understand business activities and business drivers, business requirements and solutions strategies being considered and/or implemented.
- Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
- Ongoing communication of the Digital Architecture both within the Digital community, and the business units.
- Ongoing research and assessment of new approaches for potential use within the Digital Ecosystem.
- Locate ways to reduce costs in Digital IT Ecosystem
- Develop architectural whitepapers, standards, policies, patterns and communicate to stakeholders.
- Serve as an advisor to senior business management on business and Digital integration strategies
• Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
- Hands-on Technologist, having thorough knowledge of technology product and vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences
- Prior experience in Software development and delivery
- Strong experience developing and building Digital Architecture models based on Business Strategies
- Understanding, modeling, and representing the organizations business requirements in an easily consumable manner, as it relates to strategy
- Developing and maintaining project level and Enterprise level model consistency and integration
- Influencing the organization to accomplish goals and needs through architecture activities
- Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
- Passion to create connection between technology and key business stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrate ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have technical / professional qualifications
- Graduation
- Post Graduate (in business domain preferred)
