Job Summary:

The General Manager Sales will lead the sales team to achieve business objectives, develop and implement sales strategies, and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in the dairy/milk industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning

1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

2. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.

3. Set sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.

Team Management

1. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.

2. Recruit, train, and coach sales team members.

3. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

Customer Relationship Management

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

3. Resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Sales Operations

1. Manage sales processes, including order management and fulfillment.

2. Oversee sales data analysis and reporting.

3. Ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures.

Industry Knowledge and Networking

1. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.

2. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

3. Build relationships with industry associations and organizations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- 10+ years of sales experience in the dairy/milk industry.

- Proven track record of sales leadership and achievement.

- Strong knowledge of dairy/milk products, market trends, and customer needs.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

- MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration or related field.

- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.

- Certification in sales or marketing (e.g., CPS, CPM).
