Seeking an experienced Android Developer who can write high-quality code. Youll be responsible for building exciting products in the edtech space. Apart from having the ability to write performant and clean code with great attention to detail, you also contribute solutions and suggestions for improvement as you work closely with different teams.
The Role:
At Greater than Education Technologies we want to develop an ecosystem of apps to dominate the personal growth market in the education sector. Being one of our talented mobile developers, youll have an opportunity to learn and grow and be a key part of creating our products.
Engineering Culture :
We run functional teams based on the SCRUM methodology and are a fairly Agile environment, with 2-week sprints and teams with a minimum of 2 developers (preferably 3)plus a Platform Owner.
Sprints cannot be interrupted and work is planned out well in advance to keep stress down to a minimum.
Line-by-line code reviews for every pull request on Gitlab, maintains code quality, and keeps everyone in the loop & learning.
Requirements
Required skills:
• Kotlin is strongly preferred - Mandatory
• Experience with MVVM, Dependency Injections (Dagger2 or Hilt) - Mandatory
• Experience with coroutines - Mandatory
• Experience with Android Architectural Components (Jetpack Libraries) - Mandatory
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose is a plus point.
• Design Patterns, Algorithms, and Data Structures
