WE’RE HIRING: GO KART OPERATORS
We’re on the hunt for high-energy, reliable students to join the team at Game Over East Auckland! We’re getting close to opening our doors for the very first time and are looking for customer service superstars to be part of it from day one. If you’re someone who brings the vibe, loves working with people, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment - this could be for you. Our brand-new track is two levels, and the go karts are fully electric! We’ll be operating 7 days a week, so there’s plenty of action (and shifts) on offer.
Casual role - Must be available weekends (Saturday & Sunday), with shifts between 10am–10pm, and available for late-night weekday shifts. Additional hours available during school holidays.
What you’ll be doing:
Briefing customers and getting them race-ready
Fitting helmets and assisting at kart reception when needed
Seating drivers and checking seatbelts (kids + adults)
Managing karts between races (charging, turnaround)
Operating both junior and adult kart sessions
Delivering a great customer experience from start to finish
Communicating with drivers in a positive and encouraging way - especially when supporting kids on track
Maintaining cleanliness of karts, equipment, and the overall venue
What we’re looking for:
Energetic, positive attitude (this one matters)
Reliable and punctual
Confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Great with people - especially kids and families
Transport to and from work (licence preferred but not essential)
Customer service experience is preferred but not essential
First aid certificate is a bonus, but not required
