We have an immediate hiring for Stores & Godown Incharge Assistant who has preferably 3 years of experience in Stores and Godown Handling.
1. Role & Job Description:
The role of Stores and Godown Incharge is to execute the deliveries against dispatch planning.
The person has to arrange for sufficient manpower to execute the dispatch and auxiliary plan and meet the on-time delivery performance target.
Maintaing Finished Goods Stores and Inventory is Key responsibility of Dispatch and Stores Incharge.
Ensures that safety practices are followed while material handling
2. Qualifications: High School
3. Experience: 3 years (Preferred) as Stores or Godown Operation
The candidate should be dynamic and confident, posses Excellent Communication Skills in Hindi, Gujarati and must be competent enough to execute /manage following roles and responsibilities:
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Follow the Daily Dispatch and allocate manpower and verify the stock for executing deliveries. Report any issues concerning delivery such as shortage, manpower, breakdown to superior and resolve
2. Follow the Daily Auxiliary Plan and allocate manpower and prepare the material for deliveries. Report any issues concerning Auxiliary production such as shortage, manpower, breakdown to superior and resolve
3. Prepare Dispatch slip and gate pass and inform Lot numbers to Billing Assistant Q.C. Incharge. Prepare Goods Receipt Note for incoming material
4. Ensure that Customers Marking and Packing Requirements are followed during delivery
5. Carry Incoming and Final Inspections and countercheck packing bags grade and quantity against dispatch slip
6. Monitor delivery deviations and perform corrective actions
7. Verify the output of the Finished Goods, Collect the material from Shopfloor and approve for stitching and storage at the designated place in the Finished Goods Store
8. Ensure proper storage of materials in the stores at identified places with inspection and test status.
+. Maintain Raw Material and Finished Goods Inventory Levels
10. Maintain finished product stock register in synchronisation with account assistant
11. Give Daily Finished Goods Stock to Planning
12. Manage workers and labours for stores and dispatch operation
13. Co-ordinate with Transporter and arrange vehicles for daily deliveries and purchases
14. Maintain Daily Outward and Inward Register
15. Ensure proper Housekeeping and Material Storage with Identification
16. Ensure proper handling of the materials inside the stores.
17. Ensure proper accounting of receipt and issue of the materials and maintain proper stock records
18. Store materials systematically in the stores and maintain good housekeeping in the stores.
1+. Identify and segregate non-conforming material in the stores.
20. Receive Sales Goods Return and follow marking and isolation requirements and ensure the approved rework or disposal actions are taken
21. Prepare all the stores records and maintaining the same as per master list of records.
22. Follow the documented procedures for routine operations of the stores.
23. Identify Risk and Opportunities and Identify Needs and Expectations of interested parties
24. Support MR for conducting Internal Quality Audits and improve quality system in terms of effectiveness and continuing suitability
Hard Skills:
Excellent communication skills (verbal) in Gujarati, Hindi.
Basic Computer Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
MS Word and Google Docs
