Job Title: Golang Developer at Thoughtworks
Job Summary:
Thoughtworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golang Developer to join their team. As a Golang Developer, you will be responsible for writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code. You will also translate software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software, and play a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward efficient microservices distributed architecture. You will be working in a team to write production-ready code with hands-on CI/CD experience, have a good hold on writing unit tests, and be part of all team ceremonies and get work assigned/allocated under TW team leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
• Translate software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
• Play a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward efficient microservices distributed architecture
• Work in a team to write production-ready code with hands-on CI/CD experience
• Have a good hold on writing unit tests
• Be part of all team ceremonies and get work assigned/allocated under TW team leadership.
Skills and Qualifications:
• 3 to + years of experience in Golang development
• Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
• Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:Dependency management tools such as Godep, Sltr, etc.
• Go’s templating language
• Go’s code generation tools, such as Stringer
• Popular Go web frameworks, such as Gin, Echo, or Revel
• Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
