Role: Golang Developer (Senior)
We’re looking for a Backend Developer for our UK based partner, who is one of the fastest growing payment technology platform. They are looking to setup a team in India.
Our partner is disrupting the payments tech industry by building a scalable cloud platform based offering ISO, Mobile and tokenisation, Multi-currency, Crypto, Cards and E-wallet solutions. The platform is uniquely designed with microservices architecture to scale up and down according to transactional demand. This makes the platform energy efficient, resilient and highly scalable in ways never seen before in the payments industry.

Your role would include -
• Develop and deploy code meeting global coding standards
• Work with cutting-edge technologies
• Work with global team of product managers, designers and developers
• Deliver in fast-paced agile environment to deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Implement and maintain code quality, unit testing, and best practices of clean code
• Collaborate and creatively solve problems
Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, you'll create, code, and improve our application, server-side services, databases, together with other developers on the team. You'll work with the global team to help create a scalable platform. You'll be responsible to study the industry trends, creating troubleshooting, and improving current backend applications and processes to design a better program. You'll record data and report it to proper parties, such as clients or your Team Lead, while also taking the lead on projects, as needed.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in GoLang in product/financial services companies
• Hands-on coding, knowledge/experience on concepts such as Go routines, pointers, channel patterns etc.
• Experience on Go templating, common frameworks, gRPC and tools
• Develop GO packages and programs that are scalable, well documented, reliable and maintainable
• Developing and coding Microservices to connect applications with backend systems
• Knowledge of MongoDB database; Experience with database systems (SQL/ No-SQL)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Event streams such as Kafka
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Basic experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD, Concourse, etc.)
• Experience working in a startup/product environment
• Experience in payment/ financial services will be extremely valuable
