Postgres – K8 Developer
Location: Remote - India

Tanzu Application Service delivers consistent developer and operational experience on both vSphere and public cloud. TAS offer multiple services, it calls tiles that enable developers to use the products quietly for their application and this team work on Multiple Tile like Postgres.
What is the primary need or problem you will be responsible for?
Tiles needs to meet the highest standards in terms of quality, performance that meet dev and production use cases. Team build quality and use case driven solutions that are importance to our customers. We need tooling and processes to guarantee this. To this end, the engineering team needs to get repeatable, timely feedback about all aspects of our products’ quality.
Within the first 6-12 months, what are the 2-3 most important performance goals I would be expected to complete for you to consider me successful in this role?
Understand the feature set of Bosh engine, Tile development and process.
Become proficient in our tools for running, writing, and analyzing system tests.
Build pipeline for the validating the tiles build by team.
Be gatekeeper of the Tile release quality, ensure customer success.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Develop or contribute on Tile projects, meet business and customer use cases. This includes Developing code, build pipeline to test the services.
Advocate for processes and practices that keep the product continuously shippable.
Investigate product bugs to determine root cause analysis and recommend product behavior improvements.
Communicate technical dependencies and concern/issues effectively.
Work with cross geo and cross functional teams.
