Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Golf Clubhouse Restaurant Server for Fairways for the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!

Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Golf Clubhouse Restaurant Server to join our outstanding food and beverage team! This vital role will work closely with Food & Beverage Leaders to successfully execute all operations relating to Fairways Restaurant at the Interlocken Golf Clubhouse, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will serve our guests and golf members using our four diamond Omni standards.
We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have serving experience in a hotel, country club or restaurant environment, we would love to speak with you about this role.
Salary for this position: $11.40/hour plus gratuities. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to *** or race. Part Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to *** or race.
Additional associate benefits offered include golf privileges, discounts at the spa and restaurants, discounted rates at other Omni properties, corporate discounts, continued education opportunities and more.
Responsibilities
• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
• Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on menu selections.
• Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.
• Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
• Present accurate check to guest and process payment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Clean and set up tables.
• Complete closing duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service to each guest while creating memorable experiences.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Minimum 1 - 2 years serving experience in a hotel, country club or restaurant.
• Must have wine, beer and spirits knowledge
• TIPs ******* and Food Handlers certifications.
Physical Requirements
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand, walk and bend for the entirety of the shift.
• Must be 18 years or older.
Working Environment
• Must be flexible with schedules including weekends and holidays
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and other associates
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment
