Golf Content Editor Position
EssentiallySports is hiring a Golf content editor to join our energetic and passionate editorial team. We are one of the leading sports entertainment digital media publications in the world, garnering 100M+ page views a month.
As a Golf content editor, you will be responsible for verifying the legitimacy of statistical data and facts, proofreading, and enhancing the quality of content before it goes live on our website. You will work closely with our writers to refine and boost their quality, output, and overall performance.
Responsibilities:
• Actively edit and publish articles daily.
• Proofread articles to ensure no avoidable errors remain and check plagiarism.
• Research to ensure veracity of facts and identify incorrect claims.
• Publish articles in a timely fashion.
• Mentor and guide writers to refine their skills.
• Ensure smooth operations of writers in the Golf division.
Requirements:
• 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
• Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
