Requirements:
• Applicants must have a good grasp of the English language and be able to write articles devoid of grammatical and syntax issues.
• Prior experience (6-12 months minimum) of content writing, sporting or otherwise.
• Prior experience of working on WordPress or a similar CMS would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
• To deliver on stipulated daily quota while maintaining highest quality of writing.
• To deliver well-researched and factually accurate content that will grasp the attention of the readers.
• To work in harmony with the Content Team, Managerial Team and Editorial Team to uphold the quality and standard of EssentiallySports.
You'll be a good fit if:
• You have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the English language and are well-versed with American culture.
• You have content ideation experience or exposure and can pitch ideas and angles regarding our coverage.
• You want to establish yourself as a sports entertainment writer on a platform that attracts 1+ million views on a daily basis.
• You want to learn and grow as a professional, working in a culture that fosters talent and encourages growth.
