We’re proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Governance Professional to join our Trust and play a pivotal role in supporting our Board of Trustees and school communities.

Your Role in Our Vision
As our Governance Professional, you’ll be the cornerstone of effective governance across the Trust. Working closely with the Chair of Trustees and CEO, you’ll ensure the smooth and compliant operation of our governance structures.

You will:
Lead and coordinate the clerking team across our schools
Prepare agendas, collate and distribute meeting papers
Accurately minute meetings and maintain statutory records
Provide trusted procedural and legislative advice
Support ad hoc governor link meetings and occasional panels

This is a part-time position with a hybrid working model. In-person attendance is required for meetings and other key events, as needed. The role is well-suited to professionals who may also support other schools or Trusts.

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
An excellent communicator with strong ICT skills
Experienced in governance or clerking (desirable but not essential)
Committed to staying up to date with developments in education governance
