Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
MANAGE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, REIMBURSEMENT ACTIVITY, COLLECTIONS, AND ACCOUNT OVERSIGHT.
ADJUST PAYROLL/LABOR TRANSACTIONS VIA RE-ORG PROCESSING.
VERIFY, ANALYZE, AND MAINTAIN FINANCIAL INFORMATION USED BY THE DOJ OFFICE OF THE COMPTROLLER.
This position requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements:
TWO-YEAR DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING OR FOUR-YEAR DEGREE IN A RELATED FIELD (FINANCE, BUSINESS, BANKING, OR ECONOMICS) WITH 30 CREDIT HOURS IN ACCOUNTING.
KNOWLEDGE OF MANUAL AND AUTOMATED ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS USED BY BANKING, FINANCIAL AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS.
EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH COMMITMENTS, OBLIGATIONS, AND INTERAGENCY REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENTS.
