Job Description
This position will oversee the creation of a centralized governance function to support the political and lobbying activities of federal and state government affairs. The role involves designing effective processes with clear accountabilities, improving existing processes, and working with external organizations. This position will also create comprehensive PAC management and solicitation programs for the federal PAC and integrated PAC governance program for PEGPAC and PSExecPAC.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a political action committee, designing solicitation and retention programs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal lobbying laws. They should be able to travel to Washington, DC as needed and have excellent communication skills. Familiarity with tools such as RACI and process flows is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the federal political action committee (PEGPAC), including developing an effective retention program, designing solicitation strategies, administering the charitable match program, and overseeing the annual financial audit.
Ensure compliance with state and federal lobbying laws, develop process improvements, and create timely and accurate regulatory compliance filings.
Oversee the creation of a timely and accurate annual corporate political disclosure report, leading efforts to continuously improve the process and assessing responses to external surveys.
