Government Analyst Position
About the Job
The California Civil Rights Department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Associate Governmental Program Analyst. In this position, you will work closely with staff to investigate and resolve complaints of housing discrimination, denial of services by a public accommodation, and acts of hate violence.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Investigating complaints and gathering evidence
Analyzing data and developing recommendations for improvement
Providing training and education to the public on civil rights laws and regulations
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
About the DepartmentThe CRD is responsible for enforcing California's civil rights laws, which includes protecting individuals from unlawful discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations, as well as hate violence. Our mission is to promote fairness and equality throughout the state.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
