What You Will Be Doing:

Your primary focus will be identifying the right opportunities, building strategic bids, and securing contracts, Standing Offers, Supply Arrangements, and funding grants. You will play a guiding role after awards by supporting handoffs to the internal team, ensuring deliverables, compliance requirements, and security clearances are properly aligned with what was promised.

1. Bid & Proposal Development

Lead proposals for Standing Offers, Supply Arrangements, RFPs, RFIs, and major government procurement opportunities.
Build clear, strategic, and compliant bid responses that maximize scoring potential and position the company to win contracts.
Manage the preparation of technical narratives, compliance matrices, pricing summaries, and mandatory document packages required for government submissions.
Organize and update internal libraries of proposal templates, compliance checklists, and supporting documents to ensure complete, accurate, and timely bid deliveries.
2. Grant, Subsidy & Funding Development

Research and identify federal and provincial grant programs, Indigenous programs, workforce subsidies, innovation incentives, and non-procurement funding opportunities that align with company initiatives.
Lead full grant application processes from opportunity identification to submission, tailoring responses to meet eligibility criteria and maximize award potential.
Maintain a centralized grants and subsidies calendar, managing deadlines, reporting requirements, and awarded funding statuses.
Collaborate with leadership to target grant opportunities that strategically support business growth, innovation, and public-sector partnerships.
What You Bring

A proven track record of leading and winning government bids across one or more sectors: IT hardware and software, cybersecurity, staffing and recruitment, goods supply, or related public-sector services.
Demonstrated success securing grants, subsidies, or other non-procurement funding that directly supported business growth or public initiatives.
Deep knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal procurement frameworks, compliance standards, and evaluation methods.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex submissions simultaneously, maintaining precision and momentum under tight deadlines.
Bonus Points If You:

Understand Indigenous procurement strategies and supplier diversity programs.
Bring a background in public-sector procurement, technology services, or consulting.
