About CDSCO
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is indeed the National Regulatory Authority (NRA) for pharmaceuticals and medical devices in India. It operates under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
The CDSCO is responsible for regulating the safety, efficacy, and quality of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cosmetics in India. Its headquarters is located at FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi 110002. Additionally, it has several zonal offices, sub-zonal offices, port offices, and laboratories distributed across the country to carry out regulatory functions and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and standards.
Job Post: TDA (Pharmacovigilance) – 02
Remuneration (Rs.): 52,500/-
Qualification / Experience Required at CDSCO:
• Qualification: M.Pharm (Pharmacology) from a recognized university with a minimum of two years of experience in the field of pharmacovigilance or pharmacovigilance programs in India. Preferred candidates should possess knowledge in electronic clinical pharmacovigilance data management.
• Experience: Minimum of 02 years of experience in teaching and/or pharmacovigilance activities in institutions and/or companies.
