As a PHS Policy and Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting Public Health Services incident and emergency management planning and response activities, contributing to the implementation of the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements recommendations related to Health and Air Quality, and providing specialist advice and analysis in project-related work. You will also develop and implement complex policies, procedures, guidelines, project plans, briefings, and workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Health, Tasmania and contribute to the development of health policy and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Public Health Services incident and emergency management planning and response activities.

Contribute to the implementation of the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements recommendations related to Health and Air Quality.

Develop and implement complex policies, procedures, guidelines, project plans, briefings, and workflows.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in providing specialist advice and analysis in project-related work, along with expertise and understanding of project management principles. Relevant qualification from a recognised institution or equivalent experience.
