Job Description
With a strong background in congressional affairs and lobbying, you will develop and implement strategic plans to advance the Association's objectives. Your expertise in Congress and the legislative process will enable you to effectively navigate the complex landscape of healthcare policy.
In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Members of Congress and their staff to build relationships and drive positive change. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in presenting the Association's views and influencing decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement legislative strategies to advance the Association's priorities.
Analyze and track key healthcare legislation and policy developments.
Brief Members of Congress and their staff on the Association's positions and recommendations.
Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including other health associations and advocacy groups.
Requirements
A minimum of five years' experience as a lobbyist or congressional staff person.
In-depth knowledge of Congress and the legislative process.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
