This full-time position is classified as VPSG3 and involves working with the Department of Premier and Cabinet. As a Policy Officer, you will contribute to the development of policies and programs that promote truth, treaty, self-determination, and cultural rights. You will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, preparing briefs and reports, and ensuring alignment between government programs and reforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate policies and programs within the Treaty and First Peoples' portfolio.
- Prepare and edit complex briefs, correspondence, submissions, and reports using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language.
- Establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
